Empties | February 2016

As far as beauty goes empties are my favorite posts to read. I feel the reviews are super honest, and you really get a feel for how the products work out. I've been collecting products for a couple months and thought it was about time I share my opinions on them. It's a good mix of beauty and skincare so I hope you enjoy!

Beauty:

• Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara-I used this throughout the whole festive period for extra voluminous lashes.  It added a lot of volume and length, and was able to keep a curl in my lashes for hours! I usually go for a more natural lash look, but if you are looking for a false lash effect I definitely recommend this one!
• Pur Big Blink Mascara-I really enjoyed this mascara as it added a lot of length in a very natural way. It gave my lashes the spider look which I really love! As it dried out I loved it even more as it really separated each lash. I really love the wand on this mascara as well!
• Maybelline BrowSatin-Okay, I really loved this stuff! I got it in the shade auburn I believe, which was the perfect match for me. The nib is really thin so you're able to get really natural looking strokes. I also love the other end which is a sponge-like applicator with powder in it to add a fuller looking brow effect. I really enjoyed this brow pencil. It is by far the best one I've tried from the drugstore and I will definitely repurchase it soon!

Skincare:

• Lush Angel's on Bare Skin Cleanser-I've talked about this a few times on my blog already so sorry if I sound like a broken record. I really enjoyed this cleanser. It has lavender in it which I really love. It smells very earthy, but in a good way. It's a little exfoliating but nothing too harsh for everyday. I know the redness in my skin-tone wasn't is noticeable when I used this so that's a big plus for me! If you're on the lookout for a gentle exfoliating cleanser I would check this one out!
• Lush Buche De Noel Cleanser- Another product I used over the festive period. I really enjoyed this cleanser a lot more than I thought I would! It smells absolutely divine, and was really softening on the skin, which was perfect as my skin was so dry in December! I look forward to repurchasing this in the 2016 holiday season!
• Lush Cup O' Coffee Face and Body Mask- This stuff is a real treat! I used it both as a mask and scrub for my  body and face. It smells incredible, and is super energizing on the skin. Unfortunately I wasn't able to finish this before it went out of date, but that's mostly my fault! I do have this on my current repurchase list though as I miss using it so much!
• Lush Eau Roma Water-As you would have seen in this post I've already repurchased this! I feel like I've talked enough about this already so I'll just say that this is probably my all time favorite product from lush!
• Simple Foaming Cleanser-This was something I picked on a whim in an emergency. It ended up being fine on my skin. It lasted a long time which is great as it's so affordable. I don't know if I would repurchase though because I prefer a more natural cleanser.

Body:

• Every Man Jack Body Wash-This is a mans body wash, but I tend to prefer mens body wash scents over womens anyway. This stuff smelled woody/musky which happens to be my favorite kind of scent. It was really moisturizing as well which is hard for me to find in a body wash. It's affordable and lasted a good while so I don't have anything negative to say about it.
• Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel-This was the first shower gel I tried from lush. I found the formula really silky and bubbly which I really enjoyed. I'm not a huge fan of the snow fairy scent but it wasn't too unbearable. I have 2 other shower gels from lush in the scent "Lord of Misrule" and I really look forward to trying them out as I really do like their formula of shower gel!
• Victoria Secret Body Splash in Very Sexy Temptation-This is one my favorite scents of all time! Definitely my favorite from Victoria Secret. Unfortunately they've discontinued it (just my luck), but thankfully I have a back up (which I'll probably hoard, let's be honest)!
• Crystal Roll On Deodorant-I've been strictly using natural deodorant for a little over a year now. I've had pretty great success with all the ones I've tried and this was definitely a favorite! It has no scent and doesn't bother my under arms. I'm trying a different one by the same brand right now and so far so good.  If you would like a round up of my favorite natural deodorants just let me know and I'll to put together for you all!

And those are all the products I've emptied in the past couple of months. I pretty much enjoyed everything. I'm really picky about the products I buy so I can get the most out of my money. Do let me know if you've tried any of these products and what your thoughts are on them!
