Recent Favorites | June/July 2016

I've missed a lot of favorites posts recently. Truth is, I feel these posts can be quite repetitive and a bit boring. Also I haven't really been discovering too many new products lately. I stick to what I like and what works. If it ain't broke why fix it eh?

I have more experience type of favorites from the last couple months rather than material possessions. That's how it ought to be in my opinion ;). Anyway the few "material" favorites I have are pretty darn good so I thought I would quickly share a bit about them.

My Minnie Ears. Duh. As you may know I went to Disney last month with my family. It was honestly the best time ever. They're a nice little memento to my 21st birthday. They sit on my dresser and I every time I look at them I am reminded of a very special time. :)

Origins Ginzeng Moisturizer. I've talked a bit about this before but I thought I would update you on my thoughts now that I've been using it for a few months. It is quite honestly the best daily moisturizer I've ever used. It brightens my skin up instantly and gives it all the moisture it needs without adding extra unwanted oiliness. My skin has been really clear and bright recently and I'm pretty sure it's in relation to this.

Lavender Herbal Salt Scrub. I picked this up from Whole Foods a few weeks ago. I was in the mood to blow some money on some natural beauty products. I saw this was only $7 so I thought it would be nice to try. It smells like a spa! I use this after I shave my legs to make them feel extra soft and this stuff gets the job done very nicely! It doesn't make my legs feel too dry either, which is a common problem of mine. This will definitely be a regular purchase for me.

The Vacationers by Emma Straub. A recent book I really enjoyed. It's about a dysfunctional family that goes on vacation together in Mallorca. They all have their own problems and situations that they're going through and it's really quite a funny book to read. The characters are all written really well. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. A perfect read for this time of year. Best to be consumed under a palm tree ;).

And those are just a few of the little things that I have been enjoying over these summer months. I'll have another book review post coming soon as well as some of the music I've been listening to! I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer!
